The Cookie Cottage dream started in Hannah's kitchen throughout lockdown, like many others on furlough. She started baking and quickly learnt she was pretty good at it. After smashing the perfect cookie dough; the rest is history. Now, best pals Gary and Hannah run The Cookie Cottage with a fabulous team of talented bakers along with THE coolest, most instagrammable cookie shop in Stratford-upon-Avon complete with a life size cookie tree and a busy bakery in Alcester.

How it all started
From humble beginnings in our Founder's kitchen, to our very own store and full-time bakery, we've already come a long way.
The idea 🏡
The Cookie Cottage first started in our founders kitchen. Over lockdown, Hannah found a new love of baking sweet treats. Once perfecting the most delicious moorish cookie dough and doing taste tests with friends and family, everyone wanted more. This is when Hannah realised she could make her sweet dream into reality.
The business 🍪
Once she noticed how popular her tasty treats were, Hannah then moved to selling her products through instagram and started appearing at food fairs and market halls. People kept coming back for more and asking about what her future plans were.
The store 🏬
The concept for the Cookie Cottage store came together and along with her co-founder Gary, they found the perfect location for their first cookie home. It was a long journey including a complex, custom-built tree for in the shop (more on that here) and by November 2021, they opened their doors!
The bakery 🍾
With the Cookie Cottage store launch in full swing, and customers traveling from all over the UK to visit our cookie magic, Hannah and Gary decided to grow their offering. They acquired a second bakery to support launching a website store to make sure people could enjoy their goodies from the comfort of their own home.
